Do you ever eat out?

Yes, I sometimes  go and eat out during the weekend with my husband,

and  I always cook chinese food.

Eating out usually needs a lot of money, so I don’t really often go out  to eat.

These are something about  eating out  Idioms

Let me share you

1.eat out

-to eat at restaurantn

2.dine in

-to have a dinner at home

3. dine out

-to eat a meal away from home

4. grab a bite

-to get something that can be eaten quickly

Ex:I don't have much time, so let's grab a quick bite. 

5. wine and dine

-to treat someone to an expensive meal of the type that includes fine wines; to entertain someone lavishly.

請宴的意思/酒飯招待 以好酒好菜款待客人

6. doggie bag

-a small bag that a restaurant provides so that you can take home any food you hvae not finished

7. eyes bigger than stomach

-something that you say when someone has taken more food than they can eat

白話大概就是看的了吃不了那麼多。

8. hungry as a horse/ I could eat a horse

- A phrase used when one is very hungry.

9. starving/ starve

-dying because of not having enough food 餓到奄奄一息

-very hungry 

9.treat somone /my treat

-This is my treat 這次我請客

10. for here or to go

-外帶還內用 這句是我在美國很常聽到的!!

11. pot luck

-an informal meal where guests bring a different dish that is then shared with the other guests

-每個人都帶一道菜,大家一起吃

12. all you can eat

-providing an unlimited amount of food for a fixed price.

13. sweet tooth

- If you have a sweet tooth, you like eating sweet foods, especially sweets and chocolate

14. mouth watering

-mouthwatering food looks as if it will taste good.

-流口水啦!
